Chris Carr


Chris Carr has been actively engaged in motorcycle training and education since 2001. Chris is an MSF instructor who has also been trained as a DBS dirtbike and ATV coach. He also served on the American Honda Demo Team.

Chris is now the 2011 AHRMA Middle Weight Superbike National Champion, World Champion and Master of the Mid West Champion and is now also teaching AHRMA Racing School.

In 2012, Mr. Carr won the AHRMA regional Middle Weight Superbike Championship and became the official AHRMA race commentator and the South Eastern Road Racing Head Instructor. And in 2013, Mr. Carr is officially the Georgia ABATE Director of Education and the Motorcycle Safety Task Team for the State of Georgia. In October, Chris finished first in Daytona making in the ARHMA South Eastern Regional Champion 3 consecutive years.

Our School

Chris Carr managed and operated one of the nations most successful Harley-Davidson Riders Edge program in the country for over 10 years. In 2010 Chris and his wife decided to create Two Wheel Adventures Motorcycle Academy. In just 2 years, the business has expanded to three locations: Lakewood Ampitheatre in Atlanta, Frazier’s Harley-Davidson in Buford and Cycle Works in Roopeville.

Over the years, Chris's team has trained over 6,000 Georgia riders, including Tyler Perry, professional football/baseball players, WSB and CNN anchors. We are also the official Zac Brown Band Motorcycle Academy.

3 Wheel Basic Rider Course

Sponsored by Can Am | BRP

This course is designed to teach the art of riding 3 Wheel motorcycles. It covers all the basic operations needed to safely ride a 3 wheel motorcycle (ffective braking techniques, turning skills, obstacle avoidance maneuvers, classroom instruction, etc.). Successful completion of this course leads to a Georgia license waiver card.

Basic Rider Course (BRC)

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) is an internationally recognized developer of rider education

This 2-day course is the benchmark for those who aspire to learn to ride a motorcycle.

The class is approximately 10hrs. of riding and 5hrs. of classroom instruction. The basic rider course is a state of Georgia, DDS, recognized license waiver course. You must be able to ride a bicycle and provide your own personal gear to participate in this course.

We provide motorcycles and helmets.

Our class structure is limited to 6 students to ensure personal coaching, and maximum riding opportunities.

Experienced Riders Course

License Waiver Class

This course is for experienced riders who already posses basic riding skills, it is not intended for those who are learning to ride. Students for this course should be experienced motorcyclists who hold a Georgia motorcycle permit and wish to convert to a Georgia motorcycle license. The curriculum has no formal classroom portion but offers an excellent opportunity to refresh basic riding skills. Successful completion of this course leads to a Georgia license waiver card.

Chris Carr’s Introduction to Motorcycles

The only 2hr course in Georgia where you actually get to ride a motorcycle.

This curriculum was created by Chris Carr, endorsed and approved by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. It is designed for those people who want to try to ride without committing to the basic rider course (BRC). It provides an overview of motorcycles, the controls, their location, and how they work. Along with the familiarization we discuss the risks and provide you the opportunity to enjoy your first motorcycle ride.

Sportbike Performance School

Maximize your sport bike skills

If you want to take your riding to the next level and learn how to maximize your sport bike skills, participate in track days, or have aspirations to race this course is for you.

Chris’ teaching approach is completely grounded in a successful racing career including multiple endurance wins and 7 AHRMA road race championships. He has participated and graduated from numerous nationally recognized schools such as Keith Code Superbike School, Lee Parks Total Control, Jason Pridmore Star School, and 500 Moto GP champion Kevin Schwantz, Suzuki School.

Chris currently works with Cycle World author, Nick Ienatsch, and the Yamaha Champions School, and he is also the southeastern lead instructor for the AHRMA Fast and Safe road race school.

Terms and Conditions

ATTENDANCE AND TARDINESS: Each class will start promptly. Allow extra travel time to arrive at least 15 minutes before each class. Tardiness or absence to any of the class sessions will result in dismissal from the course.

REFUNDS : There will NOT be any refund. Once you pay for the class, a motorcycle is reserved for you on a specific day and time.

  • If you miss any of the class sessions
  • If you come in late.
  • If you voluntarily withdraw from a class with or without the coach’s consent.
  • If you are dismissed by the coach: for consuming alcohol/medications before or during class time that can impair your judgment. Carrying any weapons on the training grounds. Deliberate acts or intentions to harm any students or coaches. Willfully not following the coach’s directions or abusing any provided equipment or motorcycles. Unsafe riding that can result in injuries to yourself or others. Using foul language.
  • If you fail the class.
  • If you do not wear the appropriate attire, you will be dismissed from the class.

CLASS CANCELLATION: Two Wheel Adventures LLC. reserves the right to cancel classes at any given time. Refunds for the class will be issued if we are unable to provide the course.

GROUPON CUSTOMERS: Once you sign up for a class, a seat is reserved for you.We require a 72 hours notice for cancellation and rescheduling or forfeit your voucher. If you sign for a class that start within 72 hours and receive an email confirmation, you will not be able to cancel or reschedule if you are unable to attend.

STUDENTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18: must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the beginning of the class to sign the waiver. After successful completion of the class, the student will receive a 90 day licence waiver. However, the student must turn 17 years old before the 90 days waiver expires in order to receive a license. See Joshua’s Law .

ATTITUDE: Please come to class well rested, “alert” and ready to learn.


  • Long sleeve shirt to fully cover the arms and below the waist (even if it is HOT outside).
  • Long denim pants or equivalent durability. No holes, cuffs or baggy pants as they can get caught on the foot pegs. No spandex or sweatpants.
  • Full fingered gloves preferably leather.
  • Over the ankle boots to protect the ankle bones.
  • If you choose to bring your own helmet, make sure it is DOT approved and has a face shield.
  • Bandanna to wear under the helmet.
  • Rain gear.
